Plastic Housings Pillow blocks and flange units are available with either ball or spherical roller bearing inserts. Designed for general and heavy duty applications with or without relube features. Housings are made of gray cast iron for most applications. However, pressed steel and special nodular cast iron housings and washdown units, consisting of stainless steel inserts mounted in plastic or stainless steel housings, are available where applicable.
